Mina’s journey to becoming a top stylist in Los Angeles began in South Korea. At a young age, Mina knew she wanted to pursue a career as a beautician, and her love for the art of hairdressing and passion for people hasn’t diminished in the 20 plus years she has been practicing. Mina apprenticed at the top salons in Seoul before continuing her training in the States. Mina is well known for her precise cutting skills and her years of experience working with different hair types has allowed her to become one of the premier colorists specializing in balayage, ombre, and sombre. In addition to cut and color, Mina is an expert in all methods of Brazilian straight, digital and spiral perm techniques. Mina has styled for numerous celebrities and beauty pageant winners.

Annie brings a decade of experience to Hair by Mina, specializing in coloring and Japanese straight perm techniques. As a second-generation Korean American, Annie combines her cultural heritage with her professional expertise to provide top-notch services to her clients.

Annie’s journey in hairdressing began with a desire to help people feel confident and beautiful. She has dedicated the past 10 years to perfecting her craft under the mentorship of Mina, the director of Hair by Mina. This collaboration has refined her skills and deepened her passion for the art of hairdressing.

With a primary focus on balayage, Annie is also highly skilled in color correction and special color dye jobs. Her versatility extends to cutting hair for both men and women, and she has a particular knack for creating stylish men's perms.

Annie’s dedication to her craft and her ability to connect with clients on a personal level ensure a transformative and confidence-boosting experience for everyone who sits in her chair.
